• Would Alice have ever been able to enter Wonderland without the marvellous fortune of being able to change her size?

And just like in 1862, when a shy oxford mathematician named Lewis steeped his fantastical world in logic, what worlds could I conceive if I played with scale and yet be conscious of real-life scenarios.

_________

Bookcovers as small as postage stamps

No matter the printed size of the book, when perusing to purchase; book covers shrink themselves to a mere 1x1.5 inches. As a book cover designer, I always have in mind two very different sizes when designing a single book cover - the off-line size and its tiny online counterpart.

Which album covers of yours are more prominent at 1x1 inch and as vinyls?

Film Screening on Mobile Phones.

Most of my time on Instagram is spend screen shooting recommendations I plan on seeing but really my bucket list is just getting longer.

What if I made an animation which was specifically designed to appeal to my scrolling tendencies?

Working backwards I arrived at an animation whose orientation is vertical thus adaptable to scrolling, very short so it fits into a single Instagram post and can be viewed on your phone sized screen.

Animation as Theatre.

Flight charts a narrative between losing one’s home and trying to build a new one. It chronicles the hurdles of the immigration process with a focus on documentation and paperwork.

The story is left without a definite conclusion, and the viewer experiences fragments of what it is to live in such uncertainty.

Flight is built like a theatre set, where the viewer stands centre-stage and the animation is projected around them, much like a scripted video game with a POV narrative.

The ratio of the screen to human is important to embed the viewer in the story.
